PrednisTab (Prednisolone) Tablets, 5mg

PrednisTab (Prednisolone) Tablets, 5mg, a corticosteroid, can be used to treat a variety of conditions in pets, such as arthritis pain, asthma, Addison's disease, and lupus. It is also effective in treating allergic reactions and certain blood and skin disorders. For safety and efficacy, always consult a veterinarian before beginning treatment.

Possible Side Effects

Side effects are usually dose-dependent. If side effects occur, contact your vet, who may decrease the dosage, frequency or type of corticosteroid. Possible side effects include stomach upset and increased thirst, urination and/or appetite. Other adverse reactions include hair thinning, fatigue, muscle weakness, high blood pressure, sudden weight gain and panting. Extended use may induce diabetes or Cushings disease. Contact your vet immediately if you notice any strange behaviors or symptoms after administering Prednisolone.

Storage Instructions

Store at controlled room temperature of 68° - 77°F.
